Security Policy

Effective Date: July 13, 2026 Last Reviewed: July 13, 2026

Envirosult ("Envirosult," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the security of your personal and financial information whenever you visit our website or make a contribution, sponsorship payment, or donation. This Security Policy explains the measures we use to protect your data, including our use of SSL encryption, PCI-compliant payment processing, and secure third-party payment providers.

This policy works alongside our Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions, which describe how we collect, use, and share information more broadly.

1. SSL Encryption

All pages on envirosult.com are served over HTTPS, protected by SSL/TLS (Secure Sockets Layer / Transport Layer Security) encryption. This means that any information transmitted between your browser and our website — including form submissions, contact details, and general browsing activity — is encrypted in transit and cannot be easily intercepted or read by third parties.

You can confirm you are on a secure connection by checking for the padlock icon in your browser's address bar and verifying the site address begins with https://envirosult.com.

2. PCI-Compliant Payment Processing Through Clover

When you contribute or sponsor Envirosult using a credit or debit card, your payment is processed through Clover, a payment processing platform that maintains PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) compliance.

This means:

  • Your card number, expiration date, and security code are encrypted and transmitted directly to Clover's secure servers — Envirosult does not directly collect, view, transmit, or store your full card details on our own systems.
  • Clover's infrastructure undergoes regular security audits and adheres to the PCI Security Standards Council's requirements for safely handling cardholder data.
  • Card transactions are tokenized, reducing the risk of exposure even in the unlikely event of a system compromise.

3. Secure Third-Party Payment Processing

In addition to Clover, Envirosult offers contribution and sponsorship options through established third-party payment providers, including PayPal and Venmo. When you choose one of these methods:

  • You are redirected to the provider's own secure platform to complete your transaction.
  • Your payment credentials (card numbers, bank account details, login information) are entered and processed directly by that provider — Envirosult never receives or stores this information.
  • Each of these providers maintains its own industry-standard security safeguards, encryption protocols, and fraud-monitoring systems, independent of Envirosult's website.

For contributions made via ACH, cryptocurrency, stocks, or bonds, arrangements are coordinated directly by email and processed through the relevant financial institution's or platform's own secure channels.

4. Our Data Security Practices

Beyond payment processing, Envirosult takes reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect the personal information you share with us (such as contact form submissions), including:

  • Restricting access to personal information to those who need it to respond to your inquiry or process your contribution.
  • Not storing sensitive payment card data on Envirosult's own servers or systems.
  • Reviewing our website and third-party integrations periodically for security updates.

No method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

5. Contact Information for Security Questions
